Here are the tag lines of 3 frameworks

Rails: Sustainable Productivity …

Django: … for perfectionists with deadlines

Symfony: … for lazy folks

I think the tag lines speak a whole lot about the general ideals about the framework.

what do you think?

    Nice observation. :-)

Considering the just tag lines and leaving the frameworks themselves out of it, I think it mostly says that the Rails and Django guys are better at marketing!

    (er, “just the tag lines”)

Well, I would say Rails is best at marketing.

I am a huge fan of Django and think that it needs graphical person now.

Someone, who can prepare better logo, eye-catching website, etc. all leading to the public hype :)

PS: Don’t take it wrong, Adrian is an excellent tech. writer.

Django already have a excellent designer, Wilson Miner.

I for one think the Django site looks great, at least as good as Rails.

I think they all look great graphically, and much better than what I could do as well.

This post was about the taglines, how the frameworks describe themselves in one sentence.

The original post was commenting on how the site-layout of the 3 sites were VERY similiar, not the graphics either.
