open source billing system
Hi.
well.. "zilbo.com":http://zilbo.com has expanded a bit, and now is generating some revenue (yay) on the consulting side.
But my problem is I now need a multi-currency aware accounting package.. I've been using the quickbooks which was bundled with my Mac.. and it's been Ok, but it doesn't handle multi-currency.. which I now need.
I had a look at some of the open source things, and "Compiere":http://www.compiere.org/ looked right, but I don't want to install oracle to get it to work.. (it hints on mysql support.. but It wasn't obvious to me)
"OpenTaps":http://www.opentaps.org/ looks interesting, but it seems like it is more geared to a ecommerce site than a service/consulting firm.
What do you use?
