removing static from a quicktime movie

anyone know of any good tools (I can’t afford Final Cut Pro) which can edit a quicktime movie’s sound track?
I’m trying to remove some static coming (and don’t want to spend another hour or two redoing the entire movie)
Thanks!

QT Pro?
QT doesn’t do it. I used QT Pro to export out the sound as a .wav, and then used audacity’s noise filter.
it does a good job, but it makes my voice all tinny.
I’m guessing I had the input volume too high in the first place.
I am getting a new respect for podcasters during this ordeal!
Ahh Podcasting..
Audacity will open .mp3
Have you looked at using GarageBand?
I ended up exporting it to a WAV and using the noise removal filter which worked quite well, but left my voice a bit tinny.
but it’s good enough for people to listen too now (albeit a bit quiet)
