macbook battery woes
after reading James's "experience with his old macbook pro battery":http://blog.duncandavidson.com/2006/12/battery_expansi.html
I decided to go get mine out of the cupboard and throw it away.
from reading the comments on that post, the battery is like a ticking time bomb, once if becomes fully discharged it is easy to short.
so if you are like me, and never actually returned the old recalled battery when you got a new one, I suggest you dispose of it before you get a nasty surprise like James did.
