I call the US a LOT, and usually use a land line.

having a bad connection I switched to skype, and it was crystal clear.. much clearer than my land line.

    I love skype! MSN and other messengers are absolutely no match for skype. Crystal clear sound and less lag time.

    There’s a free/open source alternative for Skype: WengoPhone. It uses the SIP protocol and is licensed under the GNU GPL. It works pretty fine ;)

    The only problem I have with skype is that people use it sometimes just for the sake of using it. They actually call me when they see me online just to say hi, but they have nothing to say. Guys, I’m online to work, not chat… recently I switched to invisible and use it only to call landlines.
